You Never Bike Alone Documentary!

You Never Bike Alone:

Directed by Robert Alstead

This documentary describes the culture around critical mass in Vancouver and the battles cyclists face both as a community and individually. Viewing this I was launched into a roller coaster ride of emotion and morality. I found myself angry at violent uncompromising motorists. I gestured rudely at the TV during police arrests.  However, there were moments of hope too for the mass goers. When cyclists used all their skills to carefully negotiate with disgruntled motorists (TO BACK OFF) I was proud. There were laughs when for World Naked Bike Day a group en masse rode around populated areas. This film shows the wide variety of people that ride, why they choose to ride and why they join critical mass.
